Housing associations are non-profit making organisations, which provide homes for people in housing need. They are also known as Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) or Registered Providers. The type of accommodation provided ranges from ordinary houses and flats to specially built accommodation for older and people with disabilities.
We work in partnership with a number of housing associations to provide accommodation within the district for affordable rents and shared ownership. They operate in the same way as the Council and if you are accepted onto the Housing Register, you may be offered a housing association property.
Most properties are available for rent to applicants on our Housing Register, although some properties are also available through the Help to Buy scheme.
Listed below are all the organisations with rented homes in this area. In most cases the office local to the district is listed.
