Delays to grounds maintenance Our grounds maintenance team is facing staffing challenges due to short and long term sickness. This has impacted on grounds maintenance on both Council owned land on housing estates and in our parks and open spaces. Currently, we are looking for regional contractors to help us and Council owned land on housing estates will be prioritised. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
All roadside grass verges are looked after by Surrey County Council.
