Landlord fined £6,120

On 19 December at Guildford Magistrates’ Court, Murtha Kehoe of Gloucester Road, Redhill, pleaded guilty to owning and managing an unlicensed House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) since May 2016. He was fined £5,000, as well as the Council’s legal costs of £1,000 and ordered to pay £120 to the victim support fund.


Free parking in Ellice Road car park over the festive period

Ellice Road car park in Oxted will be free to use from:

  • 5pm on Friday 21 December to 8am Thursday 27 December.
  • 5pm on Friday 28 December to 8am Wednesday 2 January.

You will not have to visit a machine to exit the car park as the barriers will be open and online parking accounts will not be charged.
