Free lunchtime learning for architects & builders

Have you heard about our building control team's hugely popular free Lunch & Learns (CPD training sessions) which take place regularly at either Oxted, Dorking or Reigate? Aimed at local architects/engineers and contractors they cover the latest techniques and innovations within the building industry, as well as changes to the building regulations. 


European electors should register to vote

All citizens of the European Union registered to vote in the UK, are not currently registered to vote at the European Parliamentary election and need to register. 

The European Parliamentary elections will be held on Thursday 23 May 2019. 


Calling young photographers

Caterham Rotary has announced the launch of the Marianne Woods Rotary Young Photographer Competition 2019. Marianne was the driving force behind the competition in previous years and inspired many young people to take up photography and showcase their talents.


Homelessness Prevention Strategy consultation

The Council is carrying out a public consultation about the Council’s draft Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy. The draft strategy, “Not every homeless person sleeps on the streets”, sets out how the Council will tackle homelessness in the district from 2019 to 2023.
