Car parking spaces in Oxted

St William Homes LLP, owner of the gasholder site, has applied to Surrey County Council to temporarily suspend some parking bays on Station Road East and Johnsdale, while the work to redevelop the gasholder site take place. This is to create safe access to the site for construction vehicles. The spaces affected will be outside Boots, Strides, by the Factory Shop and in Johnsdale Road.

To protect car parking spaces for shoppers in Oxted and as part of its commitment to finding parking solutions in the town before the Ellice Road car park is redeveloped, the Council has put plans in place to create additional spaces.
