Appeal Hearing for Land North of Old Farleigh Road, Farleigh, Surrey

The Hearing took place on 8 February 2022.

The Planning Inspectorate received an appeal against a planning application submitted relating to a site at Land North of Old Farleigh Road, Farleigh, Surrey, CR6 9PE.

The appeal is for the erection of a crematorium and memorial gardens together with car parking, landscaping works and associated infrastructure. Mercia Crematoria Developments Ltd made the appeal under s78(2)(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

The Secretary of State appointed Planning Inspector M Small BA(Hons) BPl DipCM MRTPI to deal with the Hearing. The Planning Inspector will run the Hearing in the normal way, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic, it will be held as a virtual event.
