The Council will also be publishing fact sheets for every ward, which will include maps, sites for new homes, employment and infrastructure improvements to help make the information in the plan easy to access.

Open letter from Keith Jecks, Chair of the Planning Policy Committee

On Thursday 21 June, we will publish the Draft Local Plan. We are doing this as early as we can and earlier than is legally required because we recognise the complexity of its contents. We want to give everyone time to consider it properly before we decide at the Planning Policy Committee on 3 July, whether to approve the Plan for Regulation 19 consultation.

Open letter from Keith Jecks, Chair of the Planning Policy Committee

I want to ensure residents are aware of the work taking place to prepare for the publication of the draft Local Plan. This letter sets out the timetable for the next few weeks.

On 6 June and 7 June we are giving your councillors briefing sessions about the sites, along with infrastructure improvements in their ward, which will form part of the draft Local Plan.
