Payments

Use our payment system to pay for:

• Council tax
• Business rates
• Housing rent
• Other invoices issued by us such as:
  - Your community alarm
  - Leasehold management expenses
  - Leasehold insurance
  - Annual licences
  - handyman service
  - Building regulations inspection fees
  - Allotments
  - and much more.

You will need to register the first time you use the system. Find out more about what we do with the personal information we collect from you.

There is no charge for using credit or debit cards, except if you are paying for your council tax or business rates by credit card. The Council will then add a surcharge of 1.35% to your payment, which is what our bank charges us for the transaction. There is no charge for using a debit card.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds and Cancellations Policy for Internet Transactions.

In respect of goods and services being purchased via the Council's web site:

• Where the Council fails to deliver in accordance with our standards, then a full refund will be made.
• The credit / debit card used for the payment will be refunded.
• This will be done as soon as possible but within 14 days of the refund being agreed by the Council.
• Cancellations will only result in a refund at the discretion of the Council.
• In the event that the Council agrees to a refund following a cancellation, then this will be carried out in accordance with the above.
  

Parking payments

To pay a parking penalty charge please use our parking payments (This link will open in a new window) system. It's safe, secure and payments can be made by credit card and debit card. Other methods of payment are listed on the back of the penalty charge notice.
