Help with housing

To help home owners the government has introduced a range of measures including:

Cutting stamp duty for properties under £500,000 to help first time buyers.
A £200m mortgage rescue scheme, which will support up to 6,000 of the most vulnerable homeowners facing repossession to remain in their home.
