Queens Park Pavilion

Queens Park pavilion has a hall which is available for hire to the local community for playing sports, for community events and one off events at weekends. More information, and the cost of hiring the hall, are detailed below.

• Playing sports activities, such as short mat bowls and martial arts, in the hall are charged at £17.50 per hour, or if 10 or more bookings are made the price is reduced to £14 per hour. Playing badminton is only £9.25 per hour.
• Using the hall for community events such as playgroups, public meetings, dance classes and music classes are charged at £17.50 per hour or by arrangement for multiple bookings. This includes the use of the kitchen, tables and chairs.
• Hiring the hall for a one off event, such as a children's party (up to twelve years old only, no adult parties) are charged at £126 for 4 hours and £21.50 per hour after that. If it is for a profit making event the charge is £250 for 4 hours and £45 per hour after that. Please be aware that no alcohol can be taken into the hall. Smoke machines and helium filled balloons are also not allowed.

Please note there will be a price increase as of the 1st April 2012. Increases will only apply to bookings after 1st April 2012 and will be published on this page.
