How do I bid for properties through Tandridge HomeChoice?

The Council operates a Choice Based Lettings system for allocating properties, known as Tandridge HomeChoice. Applicants can also apply for some properties in Epsom & Ewell, Mole Valley and Reigate & Banstead through East Surrey HomeChoice.
This system replaced the former housing waiting list system. To be able to bid for properties, you must first join the Housing Register.

Choice Based Lettings aims to help applicants take a greater role in choosing their home. Like in the private rented sector, available rented council and housing association homes are advertised and applicants can express their interest (or 'bid') for advertised homes in the areas where they would like to live.

Please note that the Council does not offer properties directly to applicants. You will only be offered the tenancy of a particular property if you have registered a 'bid' for it.
