Application for a road closure form

If you are thinking of organising a street party, carnival, procession, or any other event on the road, you need to apply to Tandridge District Council for a Road Closure Order, as soon as possible. You can read the guidance notes and complete a copy of the application form by clicking on the link above.

The Council will liaise with the Police and the Highway Authority on your behalf. There is no charge for this, but we need at least 21 days notice of any event.

The organisers should also have considered the risks posed by staging an event and have taken out any necessary Public Liability Insurance.

You may also need a Temporary Event Notice if the party involves the sale of alcohol or regulated entertainment.

Anyone planning an event on land owned or managed by Tandridge should contact the Council on the number below for the necessary paperwork and also to ensure that the site isn't double booked. You can also e-mail Amenity Services
