You can call Surrey Police on either 999 or 0845 125 2222 if you are able to report fly tipping as it happens. Otherwise, please report the matter to the Council using the link above (Flytipping Report Form) or leave a message (in confidence) on the Council's automated answering line by calling 0800 068 2070. You can also call the Environment Agency 0800 807060.

Flytipping is the illegal deposit of waste. It spoils the environment, it's dangerous, it costs many thousands of pounds each year to clear and it is an offence that could result in the loss of the offenders vehicle, a fine and even a term of imprisonment.

If you are having any work carried out at your home, please check that the person who is disposing of the waste has a waste carriers licence. If they don't the chances are that the rubbish will be dumped down one of Tandridge's green and leafy lanes.

Tandridge District Council offers a reward of up to £500 for information which leads to a successful prosecution in cases of fly-tipping.

The Council is working with the Environment Agency in prosecuting offenders, but it is essential that witnesses are willing to provide a statement that will be used in the court process.

Flyposting
Flyposting is the illegal posting of adverts.

To post any advertising it has to be authorised by the Planning department at Tandridge Council. Any other unauthorised advertising is flyposting.
