The Council is responsible for the removal of certain dead animals from public roads.
Dead cats, dogs, badgers, foxes and larger animals such as deer will be removed within 48 hours of being reported. Smaller animals such as squirrels, rabbits etc. would normally only be dealt with by scheduled street sweeping.
If you want to report a dead animal on a public road, please either call or email us.
You (the land owner) must make your own arrangements for the removal of dead animals on private land.
For further information please contact Street Sweeping on 01883 732751 or email amenityservices@tandridge.gov.uk.
