Access for all
To provide access to our services for all residents and businesses, the Council:
- Can provide interpreters for over 100 different languages through Language Line.
- Has an induction loop system to help communication for deaf people during public meetings. The loop feeds the amplified signal available in the Council Chamber to hearing aids designed to operate with induction loops.
- Can provide BSL Sign Language interpreters through Surrey Interpreting Agency.

DisabledGo - Tandridge provides access information for about 500 shops, pubs, restaurants, theatres and other public venues.
This information can make a huge difference for people with hearing, vision or mobility related access concerns. The guide may also be useful for older people and those with pushchairs.
