Local Plan 2001

Tandridge District Local Plan 2001 (This link will open in a new window)

In 2001 the Council adopted the Tandridge District Local Plan as the statutory local plan for the area and in October 2008 the Council adopted the Core Strategy which sets out key policies for the District. The Core Strategy must be read in conjunction with those parts of the Local Plan that are still in operation.

You can view the saved Local Plan policies and the on-line Planning Policy Maps (This link will open in a new window) using this link. The link will also enable you to see the Core Strategy on-line. The Local Plan Appendices are available using this link.

Alternatively the Core Strategy is available on the Tandridge planning policy portal (Core Strategy) (This link will open in a new window) and a PDF version of the Core Strategy is also available.

Following the adoption of the Core Strategy many Local Plan policies have been superseded. The List of Local Plan policies retained after adoption of Core Strategy shows which local plan policies still apply, which have not been saved and which have been superseded.

A printed version of the local plan can be obtained for £27.

The Council has produced a number of Supplementary Planning Guidance and Supplementary Planning Documents, these are available on the Supplementary planning guidance page.
