Paying council tax, business rates or rents online

If you want to pay your

• Council tax
• Business rates
• Housing rent

using your credit or debit card, please use our Payment system, or call our automated payments line on 01883 732995.

If you are paying for your Council Tax or Business Rates by credit card, the council will add a surcharge of 1.208%, which is what our bank charges us. There is no charge for using a debit card.

You will need to register to use the system for the first time.

Standing order, telephone and internet banking

To make a payment to Tandridge District Council using telephone or online banking, or to set up a standing order you will need the following details:

• Bank: HSBC Oxted Branch
• Sort code: 40 35 40
• Account number: 91098098

Please use your billing number as your payment reference.

Direct debit

Direct Debit is the cheapest and easiest way to pay if you have a bank account. Please phone 01883 732932 with your bank details or e-mail ctax@tandridge.gov.uk and ask for a Direct Debit form, or download a printable form. Find out more about paying by direct debit.
