LABC Warranty - structural warranties
To get a mortgage, most banks and building societies require new buildings to have a structural warranty in place as it covers any risks that are not included in standard buildings insurance such as design, materials or workmanship. LABC Warranty, one of our business partners, is able to provide these warranties, which are recognised by all major banks and building societies.
Launched in 2007, LABC Warranty works in partnership with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) to provide you with a complete range of developer services to support your build from start to finish - from residential and non-residential warranties, right through to assessments and testing. The synergies of providing these services under one roof allows LABC Warranty to pass significant cost savings on to you.
Working alongside our building control surveyors, LABC Warranty surveyors will also review developments in accordance with their technical standards - Technical Manual.
They also work on providing joint system type pre-approval, acceptable by all local authorities in England and Wales.
All warranty schemes are underwritten by AmTrust Europe Limited, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and has an AM Best financial strength rating of 'A'.
