European Parliamentary Elections took place on Thursday 23 May 2019.

The figures for the Tandridge counting area and the south east region are available below.

Election count

Votes are being counted on Sunday 26 May 2019 at Oxted School, Bluehouse Lane, Oxted RH8 0AB.  The count will start with verification at 11am, with counting starting at 4pm. The results will be reported to the Regional Returning Officer and once the totals from all the counting areas have been received, the Regional Returning Officer calculates the result, allocates the seats and declares the result for the region.

Applications to apply for a postal or proxy vote has now passed. The register to vote date has also passed

In partnership with Mencap, the Electoral Commission has developed an easy read guide to voting in the local elections, for people with a learning disability. The guide includes information about registering to vote, voting by post or proxy, and what support people can have if they vote at a polling station.
