Local Plan preparation continues

The Planning Policy Committee held on Wednesday 17 January was updated about the ongoing and extensive work being done to prepare the Local Plan. Having a robust evidence base to inform and underpin the Local Plan is essential. Until sufficient evidence has been gathered no recommendations about the potential location for a garden village or any other sites for development can be made.

As the Local Plan: Garden Villages Consultation enters its final weeks, the Council is urging people who haven’t yet done so to get involved and have their say. The Consultation runs until 5pm on Monday 9 October and is an opportunity for residents to give their views on the vision, objectives and principles of a garden village development, as well as the potential location

Council secures Partial Closure Order for Caterham Valley property

Tandridge District Council, working with Surrey Police, has been successful in securing a Partial Closure Order for a flat in Tandridge Court, Caterham Valley, in response to ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour. The order obtained at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Monday 11 September, prevents anyone other than the tenant and her partner from accessing, residing at or visiting the property for one month
