Calling young photographers
Caterham Rotary has announced the launch of the Marianne Woods Rotary Young Photographer Competition 2019. Marianne was the driving force behind the competition in previous years and inspired many young people to take up photography and showcase their talents. Marianne’s family, friends and fellow Rotarians were deeply saddened by her sudden death at the end of last year and the competition has now been renamed in her memory.
This year’s theme is “water” and entrants can submit a portfolio of up to three photographs taken around the local area on the theme of water. Photographs can be black and white or colour.
The competition is open to all young people up to the age of 19 (at 31 August 2019) and is split across three age groups. Prizes of £100 will be awarded to the winners of each age group.
Full details of the competition including the entry form and terms and conditions can be found on Caterham Rotary’s website https://caterhamrotary.org.uk/calling-young-snappers. The competition closes at midnight on Monday 10 June 2019.
