Still plenty of time to take part in the Draft Caterham Masterplan Consultation

There is still plenty of time for residents and businesses to have their say about the Draft Caterham Masterplan Consultation which runs until 5pm on Monday 22 January 2018. The consultation will establish guidelines to help shape and deliver an ambitious regeneration plan for Caterham town centre and Caterham on the Hill over the next ten years.

There are two exhibition events in January which provide people with an opportunity to view the plans for Caterham and provide feedback. Councillors, council officers and representatives from Nexus, the planning and regeneration consultancy, will be on hand to answer any questions.

The full Draft Caterham Town Masterplan Supplementary Planning Document and feedback forms are also available to view on the website www.caterham-masterplan.org.uk. Hard copies of the document are available in every library in the district and at the Council Offices in Oxted.

Councillor Peter Bond, Chairman of the Planning Policy Committee, said: “Thank you to everyone who has taken part in this consultation so far, either by attending the first exhibition event or viewing and commenting on the document online. There is still plenty of time to have your say and I would like to encourage as many people as possible to get involved.”

Councillor Michael Cooper, Chairman of the Caterham Town Working Group, said: “This is an important stage of the Caterham Masterplan project, as comments received now will help us shape the final version of the masterplan before it is adopted by the Council. We would like to encourage everyone to take the time to fill in a feedback form and have their say.”
