Have your say on Thursday 5 May

On Thursday 5 May residents will be voting for who should represent them in the district elections.

It is quick and easy to find out who you can vote for and where your polling station is. Your polling card will also tell you which polling station you visit to cast your vote.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm and are Covid-safe places to vote because we are:

  • Providing hand sanitiser for everyone to use.
  • Providing face coverings if you’d like to wear one.
  • Installing protective screens, separating voters from polling staff.
  • Opening windows to let fresh air inside.
  • Regularly cleaning the voting booths and equipment.

If you need a replacement for a lost or spoilt postal vote, you can apply by e-mailing our elections team at
