Revenues, benefits and payments services available again
Our revenues, benefits and payment services are available again, following a short period where they were unavailable, as we prepare to introduce our new online system later this year, which will improve the way we manage these services.
There will be some delays in processing any benefits claims or payments as we work hard to clear the backlog of cases resulting from these services being unavailable since 1 September.
Residents currently waiting for a response to their benefit claims should expect to hear from us within the next two weeks.

We’ll say more about the new system, including how it will make it quicker and easier for residents and businesses to deal with us when paying council tax and business rates or needing help with benefits, in the next few weeks.
