Help shape your community by completing the Census

There’s only a few days to go until the Census 2021, the biggest survey of our population.

The Census, happening this Sunday 21 March, takes place every ten years and provides valuable information about households across the UK. It’s important you fill in your Census questionnaire, as we use this information to plan the services our residents need.

You should complete your Census form on 21 March and current restrictions mean everyone is encouraged to complete the Census digitally this year. Residents should have received a letter with an access code to complete the Census online.

You can submit your completed questionnaire before 21 March, if you know who will be in your household on that day. If you submit it before that date and your circumstances change, you’ll need to let the Census team know (contact information is included in your letter).

The information you share will be secure and will not identify you or your family. Any information published from the Census will be anonymous. It’s a crime to share personal census information.

If you need help, including if you can’t complete the Census online, visit www.census.gov.uk or call the freephone number 0800 141 2021.
