Join us in supporting the National day of Reflection

We are inviting residents, businesses, our councillors and staff to support the Marie Curie National Day of Reflection on Tuesday 23 March. This is the anniversary of the first UK lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

There will be a minute's silence at 12pm and another at 8pm, with everyone encouraged to stand outside with a light (a candle, a torch, or phone) to remember someone who's died and show support for those going through a bereavement. You can also shine a light in your window. Prominent buildings and landmarks will be lit up across the UK.

Marie Curie is hosting a short session where guests will share their thoughts, words and songs, before pausing to observe the national minute of silence at 12pm. You can register for the live online event.

Please share what you do on social media using #DayOfReflection and tag us @TandridgeDC.
