Helping improve employment opportunities for young people
Helping improve employment opportunities for young people
Local businesses are being encouraged to help improve the employment prospects of local young unemployed people by working with the Gatwick Diamond Employability Youth Hub.
Business are invited to a digital launch event on Wednesday 3 February, from 11:30am to 2pm, to find out how they can work with the hub to support young people in the Tandridge district and surrounding areas.
The hub, which will be available online and physically in the Tandridge district when it is safe to do so, is being set up to help young unemployed people aged 18-24 overcome barriers to finding work, while helping local employers find hard working, enthusiastic and innovative people to join their organisations.
Employers can register their interest for the launch event online.
We are pleased to work with the Department for Work and Pensions, East Surrey College, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, Crawley Borough Council and Horsham District Council to support the Hub.
