Covid-19 vaccination centre in Oxted
Later this week the Council Offices in Oxted will be used as a Covid-19 vaccination centre.
Vaccinations are strictly by appointment only. No one will be admitted without an appointment.
GP surgeries will invite those who are currently eligible for a vaccination, with the aim of vaccinating about 1000 people a week. NHS staff and fully trained experts will carry out the vaccinations.
Anyone attending for a vaccination should use the main entrance to the building, follow the one way system and comply with Covid-19 guidelines. Volunteer marshals will help with patient flow inside the building from the entrance to exit.
Parking is available in the main Council Offices car park for those attending the centre. If you have an appointment, please access this car park on Gresham Road in between the Council Offices and the Oxted Health Centre. Volunteer marshals will be there to give directions. Disabled badge holders can also use the disabled bays outside the main entrance.
If you have any Covid-19 symptoms or are self-isolating, please do not attend, but contact your GP practice using the details on your appointment confirmation to make them aware.
Please help the NHS by being patient:
- Please do not contact your GP practice to seek a vaccine – they will contact you.
- When they do contact you, please attend your booked appointments.
- Please continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.
Due to the current Covid-19 lockdown, the reception area in the Council Offices is closed. Residents should stay at home and only visit the Council Offices if they have an appointment. The vaccination appointment service is not being run by the Council, so please do not call our Customer Services team as we will not be able to help with any enquiries.
