Look out for your Tandridge Magazine

The winter issue of the Tandridge Magazine will be landing on door mats from 11 November, so look out for your copy.

Delivered to every household in the district, the magazine combines news about council services with information about how to register to vote in elections, staying well and much more. It’s also the best place to find out what’s going on locally and in your community.

Our winter cover story features colleagues from our team which manage our council house building programme, celebrating 100 years of council housing at our eight new two bedroom flats at Flint Place in Whyteleafe.

It features an update on the Local Plan examination taking place at our Council Offices and details the government support we have received to progress the design and delivery of the South Godstone Garden Community.

The Tandridge Together Lottery continues to support our local good causes in the district as 50p from every ticket goes towards a player’s chosen good cause. Turn to page 9 to see how you could win an additional prize of a festive family day out at Santa’s Saturday Raceday as well as being in with a chance of winning up to £25,000 every week.

We feature our new team of Community Officers who cover the whole district, making the district safer and cleaner for everyone. They highlight the number of flytipping incidents, by commercial businesses, they have to deal with each month as well as their partnership working with the police and other local action groups.

Not forgetting all the great events coming up and the activities on offer, including both Caterham and Oxted’s Christmas events, as well as at the district’s leisure centres during the school Christmas holidays and beyond.

Find out more about all the things which can be recycled over the festive season, as well as the Christmas and New Year recycling and rubbish collection days.

Happy reading!

Anyone who has not received a copy of the magazine by 22 November should e-mail, or call 01883 722000.
