High Weald Walking Festival
The second High Weald Walking Festival is taking place from 14 to 22 September, across East and West Sussex and Kent. The Festival walks are aimed at inspiring people to explore and enjoy the High Weald landscape, highlighting what is special about the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There are fifty varied guided walks to choose from, most are free of charge. Many of the walks are suitable for children and some are accessible for buggies or wheelchairs. There are some walks where dogs on leads are welcome, but not all walks are suitable so check the website for those listed as dog-friendly.
Most of the walks don't need to be booked in advance, but some have limited places and require advance booking. To find out more about the programme of walks visit www.highwealdwalks.org.
