Look out for your Tandridge Magazine

Look out for your Tandridge Magazine

The summer issue of the Tandridge Magazine will be landing on door mats from 15 July, so look out for your copy.

Delivered to every household in the district, the magazine combines news about council services with information about how to register to vote in elections, staying well and much more. It’s also the best place to find out what’s going on locally and in your community.

Our summer cover story features our local good causes celebrating the first birthday of the Tandridge Together Lottery, which has had over 3000 lucky winners and raised more than £82,000 for charities and voluntary organisations in the district.

It features profiles of the new Leader of the Council and our Chairman. There is an update about our recent acquisition of Quadrant House in Caterham and our plans to introduce a business hub, which will help local businesses develop and grow, as well as attracting new businesses to the area. In addition, there is an update on the work progressing at Courtyard Gardens, the former gasholder site in Oxted.

We feature our new council homes in Epps Close, Warlingham, where we have transformed a rundown garage site attracting anti-social behaviour into eight new homes.

In addition, you can read about Barbara Mill’s amazing weight loss journey and how our Wellbeing Prescription service has helped her.

Not forgetting all the great events coming up and the activities on offer, including monthly food markets in Caterham and a variety of events in Oxted, as well as at the district’s leisure centres during the school summer holidays and beyond.

Find out more about the new, free, 180 litre grey rubbish bin, which will be delivered to every home in the district around October and November, as well as the August bank holiday recycling and rubbish collection days.

Happy reading!

Anyone who has not received a copy of the magazine by 25 July should e-mail, or call 01883 722000.
