What’s on this November?
Come along to any of the following activities from cinema to poppy-making, music, tea and books and be sure of a friendly welcome.
All activities take place at the Douglas Brunton Centre, Chaldon Road, Caterham CR3 5PG.
Monday 5 November – Morning and afternoon talks about Kenley’s history and remembrance, followed by poppy making
Tuesday 6 November – Flower arranging class from 1.15pm
Thursday 8 November – musical entertainment with Kit Packham, Sax & Vocals
Friday 9 November – Bingo, followed by tea and cake
Lunches and teas
A choice of daily lunches is available from 12 noon, or hot and cold snacks and drinks are available from our snack bar.
Monday 5 and 19 November – Tea, cake and chat from 10.30am
Film and ice cream
Tuesday 20 November – Film to be confirmed.
Every Wednesday at 1.15pm – Come along for indoor bowls, skittles, board games and cards.
Books and poems
Wednesday 14 and 28 November from 10.45am – A morning of books, poems and chat. Bring along your favourite to share with everyone. This is a great way to spend a morning with everyone sharing their much-loved pieces of writing and a lot of memories along the way.
Arts and Crafts
Monday 12, 19 and 26 November at 1.30pm.
Every Monday afternoon at 1.15pm, Tuesday morning at 10.45am and Thursday morning from 10.45am.
Plus, during November non-members of the DBC can try any of the above arts, crafts or exercise classes for a taster price of just £1.50.
