Remuneration panel

The Remuneration Panel is made up of three independent members of the public and is responsible for advising the Council on the type and level of allowances paid to councillors. The Council has to take the Panel's recommendations into account when setting councillors allowances. (This link will open in a new window)

The Panel will next report in January 2012 in respect of allowances for 2012/2013 as allowances until 2012 have been frozen.
