Welcome to Tandridge District Council's Planning Online service.

Planning Online enables you to access a wide range of planning, appeal, building control and enforcement information. We hope you find our service useful and welcome any comments you wish to make about the service.

Before using Planning Online, we advise users to familiarise themselves with our terms and conditions of use. Visitors to Planning online are deemed to have agreed to our terms and conditions of use.

2. General disclaimer regarding land and property information provided by Planning Online

Whilst every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information provided by this service, the Council cannot be held responsible for misuse or misinterpretation of information and offers no warranty to its accuracy or completeness.

The Council accepts no liability for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused as a result of reliance on this information. For this reason it is recommended to thoroughly check before acting on the information supplied.

Please note that all address based information held on this system before 1st April 2005 may not match the National Gazetteer of addresses and hence cannot be relied upon for the purposes of address based searching.

3. Copyright

Plans, drawings and other material submitted to the local authority are protected by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Under this Act you may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed to:

  • inspect and comment upon a current planning application (i.e. one that has not yet been decided)
  • to compare current applications with previous schemes; and
  • to check whether developments are being/have been completed in accordance with approved plans

Copies taken from our website may not be used for any other purpose or supplied to other persons without prior permission of the copyright owner. In general, the owner of plans and elevations will be the applicant and/or agent, and Ordnance Survey in the case of maps and site plans. It is your responsibility to check the ownership of the copyright.

4. Ordnance Survey maps

Ordnance Survey maps and maps created from Ordnance Survey material are subject to Crown copyright. Unauthorised reproduction infringes Crown Copyright and may lead to prosecution or civil proceedings.

The use of such mapping is limited to an allowance to view and download for private and non-commercial purposes only. Mapping may not be further sub-licensed, sold, demonstrated, lent or otherwise transferred or exploited without prior written permission of Ordnance Survey. Ordnance Survey shall not be held liable for the map material not being fit for purpose or applications. 5. Data Protection Act 1998

Any personal information provided on our website is not to be used for any purpose whatsoever. The Data Protection Act 1998 imposes restrictions on the ways in which the Council can hold and deal with personal data, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses.

In compliance with the requirements of the Act, the general provision of personal details on our website has been kept to a practicable minimum. Accordingly, any personal information provided on our website is not to be used for any purpose whatsoever. Hence our search engines do not offer the option to search on the name of the applicant or agent and all archive scans which may contain personal or confidential information are not made available on the web. Further, certain documents will have been redacted to remove personal data such as signatures, telephone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses.
