Trees - on council owned land

Large tree against skyIf the tree is on the edge of a highway it is probably owned by Surrey County Council Highways and therefore please call 0300 200 1003.

Tandridge is responsible for trees in its parks, housing sites and on other council land.

If you have any concerns or enquiries about a tree on council land, please contact us by filling in our online form below. Please give as much detail as possible.

If the tree in question is on a council housing property then please contact your housing officer.

If the tree is on private land, the Council may only be able to help, if it has a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or is within a Conservation Area. Click on the following link for further details about Tree preservation orders.
