Multi use games areas

A multi use games area, also known as a MUGA, is a fenced, non-turf surfaced area, marked out and an adequate size for at least two of the following sports: tennis, netball, basketball and 5 a side football.

There are two multi use games area in Tandridge.

  • Broadbridge Lane open space, Smallfield
  • Tatsfield Primary School, Tatsfield. This MUGA was funded by the National Lottery and is available for use by Tatsfield Primary School pupils from Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. At evenings and weekends it is available for use by the general public.

In addition, there are several areas in Tandridge with similar facilities as a MUGA but not fenced.

  • Queens Park, Queens Park Road, Caterham
  • Talbot Road, Lingfield
