Will the savings from the new service reduce my council tax bill?

No, sorry it won't. The District Council has not increased council tax for the second year in a row, but this year the Council faces a 14% reduction in its grant from Central Government. The savings from the new service and other areas will all be needed to balance the books, so while savings generated by the new service will help alleviate the pressure on council taxes  and other services they will not lead to a reduction.
