Will I get flies and maggots in my waste if it is an alternate weekly collection?

There should not be anything in your (non-recyclable) waste that would cause you to get flies and maggots. Please make sure all food waste is put in the food waste caddies, which are designed to prevent flies and maggots getting to the food.
