You ask us not to put plastic bags in the food waste caddies but what about the carrier bags that are offered by supermarkets and are promoted as degradable?

Please do not add these types of bags to your food waste caddies. Although they are degradable they do not fully decompose for many years and cannot be added to the composting process.
