What recycling containers should I have?

You should have two food caddies and a wheeled bin for recycling.

The smaller, 5 litre, food caddy is designed to go in your house, to make it convenient to dispose of food waste. Once this is full or once a week, depending which comes first, the contents can be emptied into the larger food waste caddy.

The larger, 23 litre, caddy is the one which is emptied by the crew. You can keep this indoors or outdoors, the lockable lid will prevent any food waste spillages. On collection day please make sure the lid of the caddy is locked and it is placed at the edge of your property by 6am.

The wheeled bin for recycling has a capacity of 240 litres, and will allow you to simply put all your recycling into it without any need for sorting.
