Why don’t you ask people to pile up their rubbish in one place on the main road and collect it from there?

We have considered this approach and know most residents would only put out their usual household rubbish. Unfortunately, some people would take advantage of the situation by leaving out all types of things such as unwanted furniture or building waste, which is actually flytipping. This could happen at any time of day.

But if services continued to be disrupted, we would have to consider introducing this approach.
