Why does the snow affect the recycling and waste services so badly?

The geography and topography of the Tandridge District is a significant factor in being able to maintain services. This often means the northern parts of the district (to the north of M25) which lie on the North Downs are harder hit by snowfall.

Each weather incident is different and consequently unpredictable. We assess the situation with the contractor and adapt the service to minimise disruptions and collect as much material as possible.
