Why do you clear your staff car park, but not other roads or pavements?

Like every employer, Tandridge District Council is responsible for maintaining its own premises and our public car parks for use by you.

The council staff car park, shared with Oxted Health Centre has over 150 parking spaces available for Tandridge staff, Health Centre doctors, nurses and patients and Surrey County Council staff.

At times we have also allowed Boots access to the car park for their vehicles which provide prescription services. We have to grit car parks to make them safe for our staff and for any contractors, suppliers and the Royal Mail.

In the expectation staff will make every effort to attend work, we need to ensure those arriving can park safely, including Surrey County Council's Social Care Team which is also based in these offices. They have around 800 vulnerable clients within the community and need to ensure they are safe and receiving their care package services satisfactorily.
