Can I take asbestos to the tip/dump?

You may take up to six sheets of asbestos cement at any one time to one of three designated Community Recycling Centres (tip/dump) for free disposal. Please ring the site before loading your vehicle to ensure that there will be enough space in the special container for your load. These centres are:

  • Epsom Community Recycling Centre and transfer Station (Blenheim Road), telephone 01372 728 722

They can only accept asbestos cement materials such as:

  • Corrugated or flat sheets
  • Cold water tanks
