Can you recommend a builder?

Unfortunately we can't. We must remain neutral in our role of checking plans and carrying out site inspections. You could contact the Federation of Master Builders (This link will open in a new window) but be aware that this is only a registration scheme and not an indication of the standard of their work.

Always ask builders to supply example details of their work and speak to their existing customers.

Consider staged payments to your builder and be aware that you will only receive a Completion Certificate when we have carried out a satisfactory final inspection of the work. (You should safeguard your Completion Certificate as this will be required in the future should you wish to re mortgage or sell your property.)
