How do I report a dead animal in the road?

The Council is responsible for the removal of certain dead animals from public roads. Removal of dead animals from private land is a chargeable service.

Dead cats, dogs, badgers, foxes and larger animals such as deer will be removed within 48 hours of being reported. Smaller animals such as squirrels, rabbits etc. would normally only be dealt with by scheduled street sweeping.

If you want to report a dead animal on a public road please call Street Cleaning on 01883 732751 or email streets@tandridge.gov.uk with the location.
