What if the blockage is in the public sewer?

If you or your contractor have attempted to clear a blockage without success and you suspect the problem is in the public sewer then you need to contact either Thames Water Utilities (08459 200 800) or Southern Water (0845 2780 845). You should check who you pay your waste water rates to.
