Hypnotism

Under the Hypnotism Act 1952, any exhibition, demonstration or performance of hypnotism on any person within the Tandridge area requires the Council's express written consent. The application for this consent must either be made in writing and signed by the applicant or his agent, or it can be made electronically through BusinessLink (This link will open in a new window). Tacit Consent

Tacit consent applies to applications and this means that you will be able to act as though your application is granted if you have not heard from the local authority by the end of the target completion period of 42 Calendar days

Please note that the application must reach us at least 28 days before the proposed performance.
