Licensing Act applications

The Council publishes summary details of applications for premises licences and club premises certificates and for variations to them.

The applications may be viewed at the Council Offices between 9am and 4pm.

Any person may make a representation, based on one or more of the licensing objectives, about an application for a new licence or the variation an existing one. The licensing objectives are: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. Representations should be supported by evidence.

Representations should be made in writing. Please note that a petition will normally be regarded as one representation
