Working for you - Performance and Improvement Plan

Released on: 05 July 2010

Tandridge District Council's Performance and Improvement Plan for 2010 is now available on the Council's website Performance and Improvement plan.

Working for you includes:

  • The Council's approach to delivering high quality services at reasonable cost for the community.
  • A review of our performance over the last 12 months.
  • Our targets and objectives for the coming year.

A summary of performance information was sent to every household and business in the spring issue of the Tandridge News. The full plan is also available for inspection in libraries and the Council Offices, Oxted.

Councillor Glynis Whittle, Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, said: "We are responsible for a much wider range of services than many residents think. The most visible ones are rubbish and recycling, street cleaning, council housing, planning and collecting council tax or business rates, but there are many others which impact on residents lives. These include removing flytipping, graffiti and abandoned cars, community safety, dealing with benefit claims and homelessness, food safety and licensing to name just a few. Our plan details how we deliver the services now, what our goals are for the future and how we will measure our performance."
