Find out more about the Caterham Masterplan at upcoming exhibition events
Released on: 19 April 2017
Tandridge District Council is asking residents and businesses for their views on the options to transform Caterham. As part of this, there will be three exhibition events in Caterham giving residents and businesses the opportunity to view the options, talk to members of staff about the project and give their views. The three events are on:
- Friday 21 April, 2pm-8pm: Caterham Valley Library.
- Saturday 22 April, 10am-3pm: Caterham Valley Library.
- Monday 24 April, 3pm-8pm: Douglas Brunton Centre.
For people unable to attend one of the exhibition events, the Caterham Masterplan options and feedback forms can be viewed and completed online at www.tandridge.gov.uk/caterhammasterplan. Hard copies are also available from Caterham Valley Library, Caterham Hill Library and the Council Offices in Oxted. The consultation began on 27 March and is running until Monday 1 May.
The Caterham Masterplan aims to significantly improve the town’s appearance, retail and leisure facilities, as well as encourage new businesses, boost the economy and create more local jobs for years to come.
The masterplan project is being delivered by planning and regeneration specialists, Nexus Planning, working with the Caterham Town Working Group. Property and viability analysts, Colliers International and architects, Broadway Malyan have also been involved.
